It is said that location is everything and with 32 Low Dog, truly it is. This luxury vacation rental sits at the base of Andesite Mountain at Big Sky Resort, offering world class ski-in/out during the winter months and mountain bike-in/out during the summer months! For those who want to make first tracks while the rest of the group is still sipping coffee by the fireplace, simply head down the driveway, and you make your way alongside the road for two quick minutes to the Thunder Wolf Lift. Big Sky’s Mountain Village is also within walking distance and has all the shops and restaurants one might need. In addition, Lake Levinsky is a short jaunt from the house and presents the perfect way to make use of a hot summer day with paddle boarding, fishing, kayaking, and more. While the Mountain Village, Thunder Wolf Lift, and Lake Levinsky all sit in close proximity to 32 Low Dog, this home provides much needed space (2,759 square feet) to spread out while working or schooling remotely in these unprecedented times. It offers four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a half bathroom, fully equipped high-end kitchen, plenty of gear storage space, walk-in pantry, large laundry room, multiple living spaces, and a two-car garage. Large windows fill the home with natural light and offer great views of the surrounding mountains and picturesque woods. To top it off, this beautifully decorated home is equipped with high-end finishes, a big BBQ grill, gas fireplace, and a private hot tub nestled into the trees. This property is perfect for family and/or friends in need of a getaway!
Ski-in/Ski-out Access | Best for skiers can be more difficult for inexperienced skiers. Possible for snowboarders, but skiing-in can be a bit more of a challenge.
Ski-Out | Travel down the road to the Thunderwolf Lift, or for the less experienced walk up the road to the Bear Back Poma (about a 5-minute walk).
Ski-In | Intermediate and Experts need to take Silverknife to Bear Back Poma. Ski past the bottom of the Poma on the ski trail to Low Dog Road. From here ski the road back to the house. We recommend beginners ski to the Summit Hotel and walk out the front of the hotel and ski the road the whole way back down to Low Dog Road. Silver Knife may be too steep for beginners. Note: During periods of melting the road could be exposed and cause the property to lose ski access since the road is necessary for parts of the process. The home is only ski-in/ski-out accessible when the road is snow-covered.
